Ballet in the City engages the best professional ballet dancers from across the globe. It produces and presents programming, performances, and events with these exceptional professionals, which bring the art up-close and personal to ballet enthusiasts spanning generations.
The mission of Ballet in the City is to present professional ballet performances, programming, and events in cities around the nation, cultivating and enhancing the unique culture of ballet in each location and beyond.
The vision of Ballet in the City is through the presentation of extraordinary ballet performances, programming, and events to engage and inspire individuals in the art of Ballet. Ballet in the City will communicate the relevance and value of ballet in cities nationwide, the results of which will endure for future generations.
Jessica Wallis, Founder and Executive Director
Jessica Wallis has produced and presented programming with professional dancers such as Ashley Bouder, Sonia Rodriguez, and Misty Copeland, at some of the nation's most prestigious venues, such as The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is a two-time honors graduate of The University of Akron, the founder of The Ballet in the City Scholarship, and was honored for her work with an official proclamation from The City of Cleveland in 2015.

The Auxiliary Committee was founded to support the continued success of Ballet in the City with representatives across the nation through outreach and fundraising initiatives designed to generate awareness, involvement and revenue for Ballet in the City's programming. The Auxiliary Committee will consist self-motivated young professionals across the country with a passion for the arts.
